A note from the chef, Sam Cary:
My aim is to create delicious, modern food. The Great Shefford sits in an area which is rich in height quality produce that I am making the most of. I aim to use only the very best, to create and serve dishes that I know I would be happy to eat myself.
It has always been my ambition to work in the kitchens at some of the best restaurants in the country. I have worked at the renowned ‘Hand and Flowers’ and ‘Whatley Manor’. I am proud to be leading the team at The Great Shefford and look forward to cooking for you.
I am passionate about cooking on coals and make the most of the Hibachi grill in the kitchen. I am sure you will appreciate the smoky notes throughout your meal.
